Meet Jenna Wagner . . .
What High School do you attend?
Clark Montessori High School
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family is made up of six people and one animal. My dad works for the City of Cincinnati and my mom works as an occupational therapist assistant. My eldest brother, Jacob is graduating from the University of Cincinnati this summer and currently works at the Cincinnati Zoo. Next, my brother Erich attends the University of Cincinnati and has an internship at Cincinnati Financial. My twin sister, Ellie is graduating from Clark Montessori and will be attending the Xavier University, majoring in nursing. The animal that is a part of the family is my dog, Scout. She is a labrador retriever mixed with greyhound. She is 4 years old and is considered the world’s most lovable and spoiled dog out there. She enjoys playing with her toys and being outside with others but the split second she hears something loud, she bolts for the front door.
What are your plans after graduation?
My plan is to attend Xavier University in the fall and major in mathematics with minors in statistics and computer science.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Chipotle and Skyline Chili.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
If I could travel anywhere, I would definitely travel to California! Anywhere in California because I love how there is so much to offer in a single state. Plus it would be pretty cool to see celebrities, visit popular beaches, or just visit local landmarks.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Favorite movie is A Quiet Place.
Favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy.
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
I would say to always remain confident with your capabilities and to cherish every moment you have with those around you. Sometimes you may have your good and bad days, but don’t let that stop you from pushing forward. Always have an open ear to advice and suggestions because those may be the things that cause you to be successful.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
Grey’s Anatomy
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
If I could have lunch with anyone, I would choose Emily Blunt. She is one of my favorite famous people and someone I look up to. If I were to pick somewhere locally, I would pick Montgomery Inn because they have the BEST Saratoga Chips with barbeque sauce, and plus the place is pretty nice to eat at with someone. Another person would be, if he were still here, Kobe Bryant. I just feel like he would be pretty cool to spend time and talk about life with. I would probably go to lunch with him at BJ’s Brewhouse because they have really good food there.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
The diversity and the endless amount of things it has to offer.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Having a good paying job, raising a family, and eventually going on a nice vacation.
What is something on your bucket list?
To meet someone famous possibly in Los Angeles.
What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
Ariana Grande
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My Favorite month would have to be December. Favorite holiday is Christmas. The BEST single day on the calendar would be October 8th because that is my dog’s birthday and May 28th because that is the day I graduated from high school!
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Chipotle.
What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
Travel with family and friends.
Who inspires you to be better?
My entire family, friends, and teachers.
