I’m a trained Opera singer with 25 years stage experience. About 10 years ago, I started pursuing screen acting and have been able to be in a couple of feature length films, regional commercials, and shorts/student films.
To advance my film career, about 10 years ago, I began working on skills outside of acting that helped to build character (ironically). One of them was baking. Subsequently, I found a love for it, and in times of hardship for some many, mainly entertainment industry workers, I’ve fallen back to the baking! Working on starting a bakery that’s still to be named…
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family is certainly not a traditional one. My husband, Tony, and I live in our small little Westwood home where we raise our two dogs, Lincoln and Gracie, and have a little garden and “city chickens.”
Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I love most being an entertainer. In my life, I’ve had the opportunity to perform and teach for a living. In the pandemic, there is absolutely NO work. I understand, but it doesn’t mean that there becomes work because I understand! LOL I started selling baked goods out of my kitchen. I’m not making a ton of money, but it’s a way to move forward with something for which I have a talent.
