Jason Snell

My name is Jason Snell, I bring the creative thunder with more than 20 years of experience in professional design, illustration, motion, management and client services. I’m a creative – everything from artist, designer, musician, Cincinnati sports fan and father. I have worked with major brands including Amazon, ESPN, Heineken, Mountain Dew, Taco Bell and Virgin America. I have also built local partnerships with neighborhood icons like the Florence Y’alls (Minor League Baseball), Haile Foundation and Habitat Skateboards. My goal is to help my clients and partners creatively problem solve, increase awareness, and create wonderful work in our communities that inspire and excite.

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family of four is my wife Sara Bedinghaus, 2 year Zoe and 2 month old Eva.

What do you love most about what you do?
I’ve always loved being an artist/designer/musician. It’s the freedom to create and find interesting and wild solutions to problems while entertaining.

What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Pontiac
, Blue Jay, Abigail, NYPD & Skyline

How long have you lived or worked in our community?
26 years.

Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
It’s between the three Kings’ Philip Paul, Otis Williams and Bootsy.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Right now? I miss Austin and Seattle, it’s been a couple years, love to hang with some friends there.

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
The Incredibles is a perfect film. Too many TV shows to mention, The Office will always be on repeat.

What advice would you give to people?
Be honest even when it hurts.

What is something on your bucket list?
Watch the Reds win a World Series / Bengals win a Super Bowl

What is your go to music when you cant decide what to listen to?
Couple — ZZ Top, Guilty Simpson, George Jones, ‘Stones, Drab Majesty or The Pretty Things…I could go on…

What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
We Have Become Vikings.

If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you meet for this lunch?
I’d love to take Bill Murray to the Northside Yacht Club and talk rock and roll

What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My favorite thing about our community is the chip on our shoulder to work hard and celebrate our wins.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5-10 years, more rad vacations with my family, continue building SnellBeast and working globally.

What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I’ve made up a bunch of characters I’ve acted out in public through the years — from playing/touring in bands to Mr.Satin and Captain Goodtimes — these weirdo’s have been on national tv too.
