Please join The Faces of Cincinnati as we honor our graduating class of 2022. Today we point the spotlight to high school graduating senior, Kailey Ray! Kailey gave us one of her favorite quotes, above and we asked her for some fun facts as follows.
What High School are you graduating from?
Seton High School
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I live with my parents, my two brothers, and my two dogs. My family is very very close and we spend a lot of time together despite our busy schedules. Plus, every Sunday we have family dinner at my grandparent’s house.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation I am leaving for the United States Navy to see the world. After my enlistment, my goal is to teach yoga in my own wellness center.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I have always wanted to go to Australia to see the pink sand beaches and the Great Barrier Reef.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Zombieland
If you could give advice to the freshman class, what would you say?
To be your authentic self, try not to stress about the little things too much, and to not take it for granted because you will miss it when it’s all over
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
The Outerbanks
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I would have lunch with my grandfather, he passed away when I was in 7th grade and I feel like that would be more meaningful that meeting a famous person. We would go to Olive Garden because that was his favorite place to eat.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
My favorite thing about our community is how it has a small town feel and everyone knows everyone.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Teaching yoga in my own studio, hopefully living on the beach.
What is something on your bucket list?
Skydiving (basic I know)
What is your go to music when you can’t decide what to listen to?
I have a playlist called “anything I can think of” which is just a bunch of songs from every genre.
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite holiday is either Halloween or Christmas but I also love Earth Day even if some people don’t consider that a holiday.
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
The homemade pasta my Noni makes.
Who inspires you to be better?
My family.
