Please join The Faces of Cincinnati as we honor our graduating class of 2022. Today we point the spotlight to high school graduating senior, Dylan Ritsch!  Dylan gave us one of her favorite quotes, above and we asked her for some fun facts as follows.

 

What High School are you graduating from?
Seton High School

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have two loving parents and 3 siblings, a younger sister Harper, an older sister Hallee and an older brother Scottie.

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduating, I plan to go to Xavier University and study elementary Montessori education.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
If I could travel anywhere right now, it would be to Hawaii. This has always been a dream of mine, not just to experience the island life of beautiful sunsets and shorelines, but to also to learn about the different culture and lifestyles there.

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“Boy Meets World” is my favorite TV show!

If you could give advice to the freshman class, what would you say?
Don’t be scared to get involved! Extracurriculars in high school has been a large way in how I met my true best friends. From student involvement, to sports teams and musical productions, find what you are truly passionate in and stick with it!

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
Friends

What is your favorite thing about our community?
I love the fact that our community feels like a small town in the midst of a big city.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5-10 years, I see myself starting a family of my own and getting a teaching job that I am passionate about!

What is something on your bucket list?
Learning how to ride a horse

What is your go to music when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Anything country, old or new

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is June because it is the start of summer vacation! My favorite holiday is Christmas because I get to see extended family that I don’t normally see. My favorite single day on the calendar is my birthday because its the day I feel the most loved and seen by my loved ones.

What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A game on my phone (that I’m addicted to) called “Royal Match”. 10/10 recommended stress reliver.

What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
I don’t know when it will officially be “over” but I’m over it!

Who inspires you to be better?
As cheesy as it sounds, my boyfriend Kenny truly inspires me to be a better person. I look up to his work ethic and humorous attitude even in the midst of hard times. He truly pushes me to be the best version of myself!
