Please join The Faces of Cincinnati as we honor our high school graduating class of 2024. Today we point the spotlight to graduating senior, Paige Steinbeck! We asked Paige to give us a peak into her school and life experiences by answering the following questions.
What is your favorite quote? What does it mean to you?
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” -Proverbs 3:5-6. This is my favorite qoute because it reminds me that God is always there for me and will guide me down the right path during hard times, and encourages me in tough times. It also reminds me to trust the Lord because he knows the desire of my heart, and knows what is best for me in life.

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I live with my mom, dad, twin brother, older brother, and my grandma. I have 2 pets, a mini Goldendoodle named Lulu, and my kitten Cruz named after Elly De La Cruz.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend the University of Cincinnati and I will be majoring in Sports Administration.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would travel to Hawaii because of how pretty the environment is, and all the variety of different activities you can do while you’re there. This has always been on my bucket list and I would love to visit one day.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite movie is The Greatest Showman. My favorite TV shows are Swat, All American, and Outer Banks.
If you could give advice to the freshman class, what would you say?
A piece of advice I would give to freshmen is to set goals for yourself. Setting goals is so important because it motivates you, keeps you committed, gains your focus, and creates a sense of purpose in life.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
If I could cast myself in a tv show I would choose Swat because I would love to help save lives and make the world a safer place.
If you could choose anyone past or present to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
If I could choose anyone to have lunch with I would pick former Reds player Nick Castellanos. He is my favorite baseball player because he was a positive influence on the Reds, and overall a great athlete and I would love to meet him one day. I would meet him for lunch at Jeff Ruby’s.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
My favorite thing about our community are the people. Everyone is so friendly, respectful, kind, and always willing to help out.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
In 5 to 10 years I see myself working for the Cincinnati Reds by utilizing my degree in Sports Administration.
What is something on your bucket list?
My number one goal on my bucket list is to go skydiving.
What is your go to music when you can’t decide what to listen to?
My go to music is country and my favorite country singers are Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, and Riley Green.
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is July, my favorite holiday is Christmas, and the best day on the Calendar is my birthday July 25.

What is one thing that most people do not know about you?
One thing that most people don’t know about me is that I’m not like most girls. I follow all sports, athletes, stats, and watch most sporting events. My favorite teams are the Cincinnati Reds, FC Cincinnati, USWNT, Bengals, and the Golden State Warriors.
Who inspires you to be better?
My mom inspires me to be better because she drives me to achieve greatness and positively impact the world. She also inspires me to unlock my potential and achieve my dreams.
