Q: What would you say you are most proud of about yourself?
A: I’m proud of the way I treat other people. I always make sure to be polite and not judge.

Q: Please tell us about your current plans after high school. What inspired you to choose this path?
A: After high school, I am going to Eastern Kentucky University in the fall to study Exercise & Sport Science. I was inspired to choose this because I like working out, and I would enjoy being a personal trainer in the future.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: My parents are both from Cincinnati, and my sister is a junior at Indian Hill. My mom and dad have helped me reach my goals in school and on the field too, I really look up to both of them, and my grandparents too.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you have met in our community. Why?
A: The most interesting person in our community is my friend Darian from my school. He has always supported me in everything I did and been extremely loyal. I like talking to him and he’s really funny.

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?
A: My favorite TV show is “The O.C.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world (no restrictions) right now, where would it be and why?
A: I would go to Brazil because I like the warm weather, and it’s a place that I’ve always wanted to see.

Q: If you could go back, what advice would you give to yourself as a freshman?
A: It would definitely be to think before you act!

Q: What is the best advice you received from a teacher? Who was it?
A: The best advice I received from a teacher was to not get too involved with social drama at my school, because it would only distract me from my work and my goals. It was Mr. Cobb.

Q: What is your go to music when you can’t decide what to listen to?
A: I listen to Lil Uzi Vert and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie a lot.

Q: If you could choose anyone alive today or passed, with whom would you like to have lunch? What would you want to know?
A: I would like to have lunch with Kobe Bryant. I can’t believe I’m actually saying that in the past tense. I would like to know how to play basketball as good as him, ha ha.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
A: My favorite thing about this community is all of the nature that’s around us. I like to go into the woods with my friends or my family and take hikes, build forts and go swimming.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: I would like to venture out and see lots of different parts of the country. I would like to be a personal trainer somewhere, helping people realize their fitness goals.

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: That I know how to build computers. I built myself a gaming PC, a desk, and a chair too.

Q: What is your favorite month, holiday or season of the year? And do you have a favorite single day on the calendar?
A: My favorite month is July because it’s my birthday month and its warm outside. My favorite day on the calendar every year is the end of the school year, ha ha.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: My high school track and football coach really inspired me to be better as a man. Not just on the field but in my daily life too.

Q: What is the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is completely over?
A: I want to be able to see all of my friends in the same place, at one time. I miss hanging out with everyone at once.

Q: Who or what do you miss the most right now?
A: I miss track & field season. That was always really fun, and I didn’t get a chance to have it this year.

Q: Any parting thoughts?
A: This is where my mom would usually make me say something else, but I don’t have anything else to say, ha ha. Thank you so much for letting me be interviewed.
