Joni Cline Sherman

I am a native Cincinnatian but I’ve lived in Texas, New York, Massachusetts and Arizona. I have a Masters Degree in Art Education and have taught at both the elementary and college levels. After starting my family I decided to pursue my dream of owning a floral design business. Sprouts Floral Design Studio was born in 2000 and was originally located in Mt. Lookout Square. We are now housed inside of High Street on Reading Road. I am also the executive director of a non-profit in OTR called Play Library. Play Library is a toy and game lending library and creative playspace for all!

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have the best family ever. I am fortunate to be the mom to 3 amazing girls: Elinor (22), Zoe (20), and Sunny (11) and I am engaged to my awesome fiancé, Scott.

Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
The thing I love about both of my careers is that I get to do both of the things that I love…create beautiful works of art through floral design at Sprouts and spend time with children through my work at Play Library. Both of these offer me lots of opportunities to give back to my community.
