Meet Aubree Clevenger . . .

What High School do you attend?
Clark Montessori High School

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am the oldest of 6 kids, 4 girls and 2 boys, ages 18, 13, 10, 8, 5, and 2. I have a mini golden doodle puppy named Nutmeg and . .  he is one. I am also the oldest of all of my cousins on both sides. I have a total of 18 first cousins. Way too many second cousins to count. I have a really big extended family. Both of my mothers’ parents have multiple siblings and my fathers’ parents have multiple siblings as well. We have family in Indiana, Kentucky, Cincinnati, South Carolina, Florida, and Germany.

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend Mount St. Joseph University, majoring in nursing. During sophomore year, I plan on attending Cincinnati State to get my minor in Sign Language.

What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Christine’s and Olive Garden.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would travel to Germany because before COVID, I was scheduled to go there this summer to visit my Uncle, Aunt, and cousin, as well as my best friend who is stationed there. I was planning on going to his town, as well as Paris and Amsterdam before starting college.

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite TV show is “Switched at Birth” or “Friends”.
Favorite movie would be “The Notebook”.

If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
Live to your fullest and don’t give up. You don’t have to be successful –  just happy. We are all under so much pressure that instead of being “successful” in society’s eyes, do what makes you happy. Be selfish sometimes and think of yourself first.

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
Friends

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I would choose my best friend because I haven’t seen him since Christmas. I would want to go to Christine’s.

What is your favorite thing about our community?
I like the close proximity to the people that I care about.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Living in my own apartment or house with a good job and good friends.

What is something on your bucket list?
To go sky diving or cliff jumping.

What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
Anything country.

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is June because it’s the beginning of summer and it normally isn’t too hot – perfect swimming weather. My favorite holiday is the Fourth of July because we always have a big party in my neighborhood with fireworks and it’s always really fun. The best single day on the calendar is June 1st because it’s the first day of Summer Vacation.

What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Summer with my family!

What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
Travel outside of the country.

Who inspires you to be better?
My parents and grandparents.
