Joe Frank

Meet Joe Frank, owner and proprietor at Fowling Warehouse, Cincinnati located at 2940 Highland Ave in Oakley.

The game of fowling:

If you haven’t heard of it, fowling is a cross between bowling and football. And it is an absolute blast! Pronounced like “bowling” but with an “f”, fowling rules are simple and fun: two teams set up bowling pins across from one another and take turns trying to knock each other’s pins down by throwing a football. The first team to knock down all of the opposing team’s pins wins.

Life should be fun

It doesn’t take much time with Joe to realize why this business is perfect for him. He genuinely loves the game and shares his enthusiasm willingly with anyone he meets. So much so that several years ago, he and a friend started an informal fowling league in their neighborhood, inclusive of local tournaments. The games were popular and continued to grow, so the two friends approached the originator of fowling in Detroit and convinced him to sell franchise rights in Cincinnati. Fowling Warehouse opened its doors in May of 2019

In his blood

Born into a family of entrepreneurs, Joe was destined to do his own thing. “It’s in my blood”, he admits, adding “both my grandfather and father were successful business owners. It’s how I grew up”. Remaining loyal to his roots, Joe attended Xavier University majoring in business with a focus on entrepreneurship. The end result of his years of study and play have given our city the gift of a new game! And for that we thank you!

Cincinnati’s Fowling Warehouse has 30 lanes in total: 15 are to the public and 15 can be reserved for private events. There’s also two bars, with hundreds of beers.

Just for fun:
